UP: They had taken a loan for their children’s education, the bank employees used to insult them for not paying the installments, the couple consumed poison along with their daughter

A tragic incident has come to light from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh, where a husband, wife and daughter committed suicide by consuming poison. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the bodies in custody and sent them for post-mortem and started investigating the case. It is being told that they had taken a loan from a private bank for the education of their children. They were unable to repay the installment. The bank was pressurizing them to pay the installment. Due to which they took this step.

Sanjeev Rana, a resident of Sapnaavat village in the Kapurpur police station area of ​​the district, was living with his wife Premvati, daughter Payal and two sons Rinku and Pintu. He used to support himself and his children by doing hard labour. Sanjeev had taken a loan from a private bank for the education of his children. When he was unable to repay the loan installments on time, the bank employees started pressuring Sanjeev.

Three members of a family committed suicide

It is being told that last evening bank employees came to Sanjeev Rana’s house in the village and insulted him for not depositing the bank installments. Hurt by this, Sanjeev Rana committed suicide by poisoning his wife Premvati and daughter Payal. Seeing the condition of all three deteriorating, the villagers admitted them to the local hospital. Where they died during treatment.

Step taken due to not being able to pay the bank installment

Villagers told the police that Sanjeev had come from his in-laws’ house on Saturday evening. Immediately after his arrival, he started vomiting. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died. Also, when the condition of his daughter and wife was also serious, they were referred to Meerut for treatment, where they died. The police say that the matter is being investigated and further action will be taken accordingly.
