UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 has started from today. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is being held in two shifts from 23 August to 31 August. The first shift will run from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will run from 3 pm to 5 pm. Strict checking was done before the start of the first shift examination. The kalavas tied on the hands of the candidates were cut. Even shoes were removed at the gate of the examination center for checking. Candidates were given entry only after biometric and intensive checking.

The UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be held in a total of 10 shifts on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. Around 2616 candidates will appear for the exam in each shift. On the first day, i.e. Friday, around nine lakh sixty thousand candidates will appear for the constable recruitment exam at 1174 examination centers in 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Nine static magistrates have been deployed to ensure the fairness of the exam. The cyber police station has been made the control room of the district.

Live monitoring of exam centers is being done

To avoid any kind of malpractice in the police constable recruitment, monitoring is being done through CCTV cameras. CCTV cameras have been installed in all the examination centers. There is a control room at every examination center. All the control rooms of the district have been connected to the main district control room at the district level. The control rooms of all the districts are being monitored from the state control room. An officer of the level of Additional District Magistrate has been posted at the control room.

The officers will be able to see the live monitoring of all the CCTVs installed on their phones. The police will also keep an eye on the candidates who have been caught in the old exams or the solver gangs that have been caught in the last 12 years. At every exam centre, only half the staff will be from that centre and half from another school or college. The sector magistrate will deliver the treasury papers of the collectorate to the exam centre. Along with the staff, police will also be deployed at the exam centre.

AI is identifying candidates at exam centers

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used to identify dummy candidates in the exam. Candidates’ photos are being cross-checked with AI. Not only this, the old photo is being matched with the photo on Aadhaar so that no one can say that the photo printed on Aadhaar is old. Separate checking is also being done to detect Bluetooth devices.

Action will be taken under the new law

Action will be taken under the new law against those who cheat or make others cheat in the exam. The Yogi government has brought the UP Public Examination Ordinance 2024. Under this, if found guilty of paper leak, life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 crore will be imposed.

KYC Verification

KYC verification of all the candidates who reach the examination center to give the exam will be done. Biometric attendance and Aadhar card of the candidates will also be taken. This time, along with the civil police, Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (STF) have also been deployed to prevent any malpractice and cheating in the examination.
