UP Police Exam 2024: Rumor of paper leak, FIR registered against fraudsters who cheated by sending QR code on Telegram

The re-exam of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment will be held from 23 August to 31 August. After the paper leak incident in February, lakhs of candidates are going to appear in the constable recruitment exam. Strict security arrangements have been made to avoid any kind of irregularity and rigging in the exam. Despite this, some people are trying to cheat the candidates. UP Police has registered an FIR against 7 such people.

Money demanded in exchange for UP Police constable recruitment paper

It is being told that some fraudsters were trying to cheat the candidates of UP Police Constable Recruitment. They were contacting the candidates through social media platforms and making false claims of providing the paper. An FIR has been lodged against seven such people in Hussainganj police station of Lucknow by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

In the FIR lodged by the UP Police Recruitment Board, it has been said that some people are trying to cheat the candidates through the social media platform Telegram.

FIR lodged against 7 people

Money is being demanded in exchange for providing papers through QR code on Telegram channel. In this case, the names of 7 people have come to light – Shoaib Nabi Saifi, Harish Kumar Bhagat, Delight Enterprises, Manu Kumar Srivastava, Kapil Jangid, Siddharth Kumar Gupta, Yasar Shah. FIR has been lodged against these 7 people.

UP Police Recruitment Board gave this information

The board said in the FIR that some mischievous elements are spreading rumours that the paper has been leaked on various social media platforms with the aim of unnecessarily tarnishing the sanctity of the exam. The motive of these people is to spread false rumours and extort money in exchange for fake papers by deceiving the recruitment candidates. This is an attempt to cheat and deceive the candidates and tarnish their future. Fake questions have been made viral on the channel UPP PAPER LEAK and channel VENOM on Telegram account and money has been demanded through QR Code. The board has also shared some UPI IDs.

Along with Uttar Pradesh, candidates from 26 states and eight union territories will appear in this exam starting from Friday. According to information, apart from UP, around 6,30,481 candidates from other states will appear in this exam.

Candidates from 26 states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, West Bengal will appear in this exam. After UP, candidates from Bihar will appear in the highest number in this exam. See how many candidates will appear from which state.

The exam will be held till August 31

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the UP Police Constable Admit Card 2024 on 20 August 2024 for the exam to be held on 23 August. The UP Police Constable exam will be conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 August 2024 at various exam centers across the state. The exam will be held in two shifts – the first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm.
