Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination is being conducted in 67 districts. Around 2616 candidates are appearing in the examination in each shift. More than 40 lakh candidates have applied for a total of 60,244 vacancies for the constable post. This time, strict security arrangements have been made at different levels to prevent any kind of disturbance in the examination, but traffic related arrangements seem to be in vain. Candidates are being forced to wait for hours at the railway station. There was a fight among the candidates due to non-availability of trains, buses or other means to go home.

In Banda, a crowd of candidates is waiting for trains to go home at the railway station and bus stand. When one or two trains arrived, there was a fight to get a seat in them too. At the same time, displeasure was also seen among the candidates due to the absence of any employee or officer of the railway administration. Candidates say that all the arrangements at the examination center were fine, there was a helpdesk so there was no problem, but now there are big problems in going home, there are no trains, and even the trains that are there are already full.

In fact, the examination of more than four thousand candidates was conducted at 10 examination centers in Banda. Banda was the center for many nearby districts including Jhansi, Jalaun, Hamirpur. After the second shift of the examination was over, there was a huge fight among the candidates to go home. A crowd of candidates gathered at the railway station. During this time, apart from the police helpdesk, no employee or officer was seen making arrangements at the station.

Candidates appeared to be very upset due to the absence of trains. After one or two trains arrived, there was such a rush that the crowd was visible from the gate itself. Candidates going home at night have camped at the railway station. Candidates say that if there are trains, then there is already a crowd in them, people are hanging on to the gates, risking their lives to go home. The local railway administration should have made adequate arrangements in advance, there are no buses there either. Mostly the candidates from Jhansi, Mahoba, Orai area have faced problems.
