UP Police Constable Re-Exam: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the dates for the re-examination of police constables. The board has decided to conduct the written examination for direct recruitment-2023 for 60244 posts of constable civil police on 23,24,25 August and 30,31 August 2024. Let us tell you that this examination has already been canceled due to allegations of rigging.
Re-exam was to be conducted within 6 months
The Uttar Pradesh government had cancelled the UP Police constable recruitment exam for a total of 60,244 posts in February 2024 due to paper leak. While cancelling the exam, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had assured to conduct the exam again within six months. Now preparations have been completed to conduct the cancelled constable recruitment exam in UP Police again. This time security arrangements have been checked in many layers to ensure that there is no malpractice in the exam.

Security arrangements have been checked in many layers
Before conducting the re-examination, the Police Recruitment Board has found out whether there are CCTV cameras covering the treasury doors and the entire corridor? What kind of DVRs and hard disks are there in the cameras? Apart from this, questions were also asked about the policemen posted in the treasury, duty roster of security personnel, log book and fire safety. Several types of security checks have been done to avoid any kind of lapse in the board examination. The Recruitment Board had also sought a report from the District Captains about how many entry-exit points and windows are there in the treasury. After receiving the report from the District Police Captains, the Recruitment Board has taken its action forward.
Let us tell you that more than 48 lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh are waiting for the re-exam date of UP Police Constable Recruitment, which was canceled in February due to paper leak. While canceling the exam (UP Police Constable Exam Cancel), CM Yogi had assured to conduct the exam again within six months.
