A case of gang rape of a girl has come to light from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The victim told that she had befriended a young man named Vipin Singh on Instagram. She came to Lucknow from Kanpur to meet him, from where the accused took her in a car to a hotel in Chinhat area. There he committed gang rape with three of his friends. The victim told that she somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused and reached the police station and registered a case of gang rape.
On the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case against Vinay Singh, Inam Singh and Vipin Singh under various sections including gang rape and started investigation. The victim told the police that she is a resident of Kanpur and does modeling. She became friends with Vipin Singh on Instagram. He called me and invited me to Lucknow to meet a director. She reached Matiyari Chauraha in Chinhit on August 28. Vipin was waiting for her there.
Gang rape with a girl in Scorpio and hotel
After this, the accused Vipin took her to a hotel in a Scorpio (UP 32 LT 2801). In the hotel, he introduced her to a young man who was a film director. After this, he took her with him on the pretext of dropping her. On the way, he made her smell something and she fainted. After this, all three of them gang-raped her in turns in the car and the hotel room. When she regained consciousness, she was in a hotel. There were injury marks on her body. She was threatened with death if she raised an alarm.
Police arrested two accused and search for one continues
In this case, DCP East Shashank Singh said that the victim was called in the name of getting work in the film and then she was raped in the hotel. On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered under relevant sections and two accused have also been arrested. Raids are being conducted in various places in search of the third accused. Soon he will also be arrested.
