UP: Man aims gun at cashier inside bank, video goes viral

There was a commotion inside a bank in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh when a man pointed his licensed pistol at a bank employee. People present at the spot somehow managed to calm the situation. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the incident.

No one from either side has filed a written complaint, but the police called both the parties to the police station and got a settlement agreement signed in writing. This incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed inside the bank. The surprising thing is that no one is allowed to carry weapons in the bank. Despite this, the man entered the bank with a pistol.

Pointing a gun at a cashier in a bank

There is a branch of Baroda UP Bank in Sohanpur market of Bankata area. On Tuesday afternoon, the bank’s cashier Manindra Nath Tiwari was sitting inside his cabin and finishing the bank work. During this time, a woman came to the counter and started misbehaving with him. Hearing a loud noise, Brijesh Mishra reached the counter and pointed a pistol at the cashier. After this, there was chaos in the bank.

Police made a compromise between the two

During a phone conversation, police station in-charge Santosh Kumar Singh told that the bank employee is a patient of high blood pressure and diabetes. A woman had gone to withdraw money, her KYC was not complete. Due to this, he started talking to the woman in a loud voice. Seeing this, Brijesh Mishra also lost his temper and started quarreling with the bank employee. In anger, he took out his licensed pistol. This incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the bank. Both were brought to the police station and the matter was resolved.
