A unique case of demanding bribe of three kilos of potatoes has come to light in Kannauj, UP. The police post in-charge had to lose his chair due to three kilos of potatoes. Actually, an audio of the post in-charge and a complainant went viral, in which a bribe in the form of potatoes is being demanded between the two for a work.
An audio of in-charge Ramkripal Singh posted at Chapunna police post of Saurikh police station area of Kannauj district and a complainant went viral regarding the settlement of some case, in which he was demanding five kilos of potatoes as bribe. However, the complainant is saying that he could give only two kilos of potatoes instead of five. However, the outpost in-charge expressed displeasure over this and then demanded five kilos of potatoes.

Outpost incharge suspended, CO City is investigating the matter
After this, the complainant said that the business was not going well. So he expressed his inability and asked for only two kilos of potatoes. On the other hand, the policeman is saying that he will give three kilos of potatoes instead of five. This audio of their conversation went viral on social media, after which Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand suspended the outpost in-charge and the investigation of the case was handed over to CO City for departmental action. This viral audio is said to be about three-four days old.
Bribe was being demanded in code words: ASP
In this case, ASP Ajay Kumar said that the outpost in-charge was demanding bribe for some work. Which was being demanded in code words. After this audio surfaced, the outpost in-charge was suspended on August 7. Departmental action is going on in this case.
