UP by-election: Mayawati breaks Azad’s close aide, makes him candidate from Meerapur, Ram Gopal gets ticket from Milkipur

BSP has made Ram Gopal Kori its candidate from Milkipur. On Sunday, Ram Gopal Kori met Mayawati along with state president Vishwanath Pal. After this, there were speculations that he has got the ticket. Now the state president has confirmed it after his announcement. In 2017 also, Ram Gopal Kori had contested the election from Milkipur on BSP ticket.

Once again BSP has placed its bet on Ram Gopal Kori. Bahujan Samaj Party has announced the name of the in-charge/candidate for the Milkipur reserved seat. Ram Gopal Kori will be the BSP candidate in the Milkipur assembly by-election. BSP state president Vishwanath Pal has made this announcement.

In 2017 too, Ram Gopal Kori contested the assembly elections from Milkipur on a BSP ticket. Then he stood third. In 2017, Ram Gopal Kori got 54000 votes as a BSP candidate.
BSP has also announced its candidate from Muzaffarnagar’s Meerapur seat. Shah Nazar has got the ticket here. Shah Nazar is the district panchayat president of BSP and has been associated with Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan’s party. In Meerpur, Mayawati has made Chandrashekhar’s close aide her candidate.
