A shocking case of suicide has come to light from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. Where a girl committed suicide by hanging herself at home. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. The family members of the deceased said that the daughter was preparing to get a job in the Indian service for a long time. She could not get selected due to her short height. Hurt by this, the girl committed suicide.

Anshika (21), a resident of Harkishanpur village in the Rehad police station area of the district, hanged herself from a hook in the ceiling of the room. Anshika’s family members had gone out for some work and during this time she took this step. This incident came to light when the electricity meter reader employee came. Anshika’s parents were immediately informed about the incident over the phone. There was mourning in the house due to the death of the daughter.

The police told that the height of the deceased was 4 feet 8 inches. Due to her short height, she could not get selected in the army and police. Due to which she was suffering from depression, on Friday she committed suicide by hanging herself. It is being told that Anshika was a B.Sc student and she was very good in studies. CO Afzalgarh Anjani Kumar told that the student committed suicide by hanging herself. She was depressed about her height.
