UP: Auto and bus carrying devotees collide head-on, three people die

A major accident took place in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. A bus hit an auto rickshaw carrying pilgrims, killing three people. More than six people were injured, two of whom are in critical condition and have been admitted to the hospital. The incident took place near Gaipura on the Mirzapur-Prayagraj road. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem.

According to the information, an auto was passing through Mirzapur-Prayagraj road of Vindhyachal police station area, in which more than a dozen devotees were travelling. All these people were coming from Prayagraj to visit Vindhyachal. At the same time, a bus going from Mirzapur to Prayagraj near Gaipura hit the auto. The collision was so strong that the auto was shattered into pieces.

There was a lot of shouting and screaming after the accident. When the people nearby saw it, they immediately rushed to the spot and started helping. The police was informed about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital with the help of the people. Along with this, the family members of the accident victims were also informed about the incident.

In this accident, three people died on the spot and more than 6 people were injured. The police took the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem and admitted the injured to the district hospital by ambulance. The condition of two people is said to be critical.
