UP Police Recruitment 2024: There is great news for the candidates preparing for police recruitment. Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prashant Kumar has recently made a big announcement saying that the police recruitment going on in the state is the biggest recruitment exam in the country, soon more than 1 lakh police will be recruited. He said that after the recruitment exam for 60,244 posts currently going on, 40,000 policemen will be recruited soon.
The training of new policemen will be completed in one and a half years
DGP Prashant Kumar while talking to the media said that within one to one and a half years, all these new policemen will be trained and deployed to handle law and order. In this way, Uttar Pradesh Police will get the strength of one lakh new policemen.

CM Yogi announced to provide 2 lakh jobs in the next two years
Earlier, during a program held in Kanpur on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced 1 lakh recruitments in the police department in the next 2 years. He also said that 20 percent of the posts in this recruitment will be reserved for women. During the program, CM Yogi had said that within the next two years, we are going to give 2 lakh government jobs to the youth.
CM Yogi’s warning to fraudsters
CM Yogi warned the fraudsters who are planning to cheat in the exam and said during the program in Kanpur that out of 1 lakh recruitments in UP Police, recruitment exam for 60,244 constable posts is going on. You must be seeing that even a bird cannot fly in the exam. No one can dare to cheat in the exam. If anyone dares to do so, no matter where he is from, he will be picked up and given life imprisonment, fine of Rs 1 crore and confiscation of property.
Let us tell you that the written recruitment examination of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam is being conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024. More than 48 lakh candidates had applied for a total of 60,244 vacancies. Today is the last and fifth day of the examination. Due to tight security, 62 candidates including 3 constables and solvers were arrested in the last four days of examination and 59 FIRs have been registered. In the examination held on the fourth day, 22 people were arrested and 19 FIRs were registered. On the fourth day, 94 suspicious candidates were caught in both the shifts.
