Unnao: Bus returning from cremation hits parked truck, a dozen people injured

A road accident took place on Kanpur National Highway in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Where a bus collided with a dumper parked on the highway. More than a dozen people were seriously injured in this accident. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. All of them belonged to the same family and were returning to the village after cremation. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

This incident happened on Lucknow Kanpur National Highway in Dahi Thana area. A family was returning in a bus after performing the last rites at Ganga Ghat. During this time, the bus hit a dumper parked on the side of the highway from behind. A dozen people were seriously injured in this incident.

The police admitted the injured to the district hospital for treatment. On this incident, the police said that the people travelling in the bus were returning to the village after performing the last rites, when the bus met with an accident.

Police registered a case and started investigation

A person named Sunil Singh, who was travelling in the bus, told that Shiv Shankar Singh, a resident of Katha village, was undergoing treatment in Lucknow. After his death, everyone went to Ganga Ghat Mishra Colony Ghat for the last rites. While returning, there were about 30 people in the bus. After reaching Dahi Thana, the bus collided with a truck parked on the side of the highway. The speed of the bus was very high, in which a dozen people were injured.
