Ukraine used drone-missile Palyanytsia for the first time, blew up Russia’s arms depot

On 24 August 2024, a terrible explosion took place at the Voronezh arms depot in Ostrogozka area of ​​Russia. A ball of fire went up to the sky. Ukraine had attacked this depot with an indigenous weapon. This weapon was also revealed on the same day. This is a drone-jet missile. Its name is Paleontius. It is a hybrid of drone and missile.

Ukraine is using it for precision attack in Russia. That is, direct and precise attack on the target. Paleonisia has the features of a high-speed drone. The missile has a turbofan engine installed so that it can get more speed. This weapon was used for the first time. It hit the Russian target with precision.

When it hit the weapon depot, the explosion that followed was worth seeing. An emergency was imposed in the entire Voroneh area. A fragmentation warhead weighing up to 20 kg is fitted in front of the drone-missile. The engine fitted in it is a micro jet. Its weight is 4 kg. It gives a thrust of 43 kg. That means it provides enough power to fly the drone. The frame of this drone is made of wood. Hence flying is easy. It has a fiber glass covering on it.
