Ukraine created a new ballistic missile Hrim-2, range up to Moscow… competition for Iskander

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has officially announced that his country has developed a new ballistic missile. It has also been successfully tested. Its real name has not been announced but according to defense experts, its name could be Hrim-2, Sapsan, Grom-2, Thunder or Grim-2.

In June last year, Ukraine started working on a missile with a range of at least 1000 kilometers. In November, the Ukrainian army hinted at the development of the Hrim-2 system. Ukraine says it is developing this missile to compete with Russia’s Iskander missile.

Hrim-2 is a short range ballistic missile. It has been made by Ukraine’s Yuzhnoye company. With the making of this missile and its inclusion in the army, Ukraine will get a new option for a cheap but deadly attack on Russia. It will not have to ask for long range weapons from Western countries.

It is being told that the range of Hrim-2 is 50 to 280 kilometers. This missile can launch a deadly attack on any stationary weapon or group. Its range can be increased to a maximum of 700 kilometers. Very soon its range will be increased from 450 to 500 kilometers.
