A tragic incident was witnessed in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Where two Kanwariyas died after coming in contact with a high tension wire. It is being told that the Kanwariyas were going from Bulandshahr to Haridwar to take Kanwar, when this accident happened. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the bodies in their custody and sent them for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
According to the information, Lalit Pal and Gopi Pal, residents of Rukhi village of Bulandshahr district, were going to Haridwar in a canter with their friends to take Kanwar. There were about 50 people in the canter.

As soon as the canter reached near Dehra Kuti in Thana Bahadurgarh area of Hapur district, the Kanwariyas got down from the canter to take water. While Lalit and Gopi remained standing on the roof of the canter. During this time, they came in contact with the high tension line and died on the spot. After this incident, there was mourning among the relatives of the deceased.
Two other injured Kanwariyas were discharged after treatment
There was a stir after this tragic accident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and he was immediately taken to the hospital. Where after examination, the doctors declared him dead. In this case, SP Gyananjay Singh told on the phone that the group of Kanwariyas had stopped to drink water, two Kanwariyas were sitting on the roof of the truck, during this time they came in contact with the high tension wire and died. Two other burnt Kanwariyas were discharged after treatment.
