Two dead bodies hanging from a tree and shocking evidence at the spot… New twist in Farrukhabad’s ‘death mystery’!

The mystery of the death of two girls in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh is getting complicated. The police recovered the bodies of two girls hanging from a mango tree in Bhagwatipur village of the district on the morning of 27 August. At first, the case seemed to be a suicide, but the family members of these two girls aged 18 and 15 complicated the matter by saying that their daughters did not commit suicide, but they were killed. That is, the case is of murder. But now the evidence that the police has found from the crime scene in this case makes a shocking revelation. At present, these evidences indicate that this death mystery is a suicide mystery and the girls were forced to commit suicide.

This horrifying story started on the night of 26th August Janmashtami, when these girls from Bhagwatipur village left their house to see the Janmashtami tableau decorated in a nearby temple. Both the girls living in the neighbourhood were very good friends. But the matter got complicated when the girls did not return home till late night. The aunt of one of the girls also lives in the same village and before seeing the tableau, the girl had also gone to her aunt’s house in the evening. In such a situation, the family members of the girls thought that perhaps after seeing the tableau at night, both the girls must have slept at their aunt’s house. But in the morning, there was an uproar in the entire village when the bodies of both were seen hanging from a tree.

Both the bodies were hanging from the same dupatta. This scene created panic in the entire village. A crowd of people gathered at the spot and informed the police. As soon as the news was received, the police of Kaimganj police station reached the crime scene and both the bodies were brought down. After this, the police sent them for postmortem, so that it could be known whether the death of both was the result of suicide or someone killed them and hung their bodies from the tree. On searching the surrounding area, the police did not find anything like a suicide note from the spot, but the police did find a mobile phone on the tree and a SIM card from the clothes of a girl.

The relatives said that after killing the daughters, their bodies were hung from a tree

The police took them into their custody for investigation. Although the police may have kept all options open in the investigation of this case, but the girls’ family members say that their daughters did not commit suicide, but someone killed both of them and hung their bodies from a tree. Now the question is that when the family members are calling it a case of murder, then what evidence does the police have that makes it look like a case of suicide. So the answer to this is the mobile phone, SIM card and call details found with the girls.

Actually, the police had found a mobile phone from the crime scene, which belonged to the cousin of one of the two girls. While a SIM card was found from the clothes of the younger girl. When the police investigated this SIM card, it was found that these two girls used to talk to two different numbers from that number. One of these numbers belonged to a boy named Deepak living in the same village, while the other belonged to his friend Pawan. That is, the initial investigation indicates that both the girls were friends with Deepak and Pawan. Actually, the call details received by the police have revealed evidence of talking to the numbers of those two boys for hours on the night of the incident from this number.

UP Police’s theory of forcing someone to commit suicide

The investigation has also revealed that on the night of the incident, instead of going to the temple, both the girls were talking to these boys for a long time. In such a situation, the question is whether these boys told something to both the girls that forced them to commit suicide? In such a situation, this case is of abetment suicide i.e. forcing someone to commit suicide. Following this theory, the police have now arrested Deepak and Pawan. On Thursday, the DM and SP reached the spot and both of them talked to the villagers and made it clear that they will bring out the truth after investigation at any cost. However, the family members doubt the suicide theory. They say that the arrested boys used to torture their daughters.

The way the bodies of both the girls were found hanging from the tree is a matter of suspicion in itself. Actually, the bodies of the two girls were hanging from two different ends of the dupatta. The two dupattas were tied together by tying a knot and the body of one girl was hanging from one end, while the body of the other girl was hanging from the other end. The girls did have a noose of the dupatta around their necks, but there was no knot or noose of the dupatta with the branch of the tree. That is, both the girls were hanging from the tree with the support of each other’s weight. This is a strange thing in itself. If this is a case of suicide, then both of them not only agreed to it, but both of them jumped from the tree.
