TVS Jupiter 110: Stylish look… One of the best features! New ‘Jupiter’ launched to compete with ACTIVA

TVS Motors has today launched its famous scooter TVS Jupiter 110 in a completely new avatar in the domestic market. This new model will replace the almost decade old Jupiter. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, the starting price of this scooter has been fixed at Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom). This is a family scooter which directly competes with Honda Activa in the market. The company has made many changes in the new Jupiter which makes it better and more advanced than the previous model.

Look and Design:

The company has built the new TVS Jupiter on the same chassis as before but it has been given a completely new look and design. Its look has become even sharper and more stylish than before. Its front has been given a wide LED daytime running light. Apart from this, the side profile of the scooter has also been changed a lot. It has a wide frame at the rear which makes the scooter attractive even when viewed from the back.

Power and performance:

In the new Jupiter, the company has given a new 113cc engine which generates 8hp of power and 9.8Nm of torque. There is an increase of about 0.1hp in the power output. This scooter is equipped with ‘iGO Assist’ micro-hybrid technology for the first time in the segment. This system includes a more powerful battery than normal (which is charged by the engine while the scooter is slowing down) which powers the ISG motor.

Another special thing about Jupiter 110 is that it is the only scooter in the segment that has 12 inch wheels on both sides. In its top variant, the company has provided a 220 mm front disc brake. All other variants get a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The scooter gets a fuel tank of 5.1 liters capacity which is housed in the floodboard. It also has a front apron opening feature which makes it even more convenient.

This scooter has 33 liters of underseat storage space under the seat. Regarding which the company claims that two half-face helmets can be easily kept in it. Its top variant has a new Bluetooth-compatible digital display with turn-by-turn navigation, call and notification alerts as well as voice assist. This scooter can be connected to the TVS SmartXconnect app. It has many features which you can access by connecting the dash to your smartphone. Start/Stop technology has also been provided in the new Jupiter, which will help in increasing mileage.
