Recently, Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikke won the silver medal in Paris Olympics 2024. Yusuf participated in the competition in a casual look and won a big victory. His common man avatar and shooting were discussed a lot on social media. After winning the silver medal, Yusuf went viral on the internet. However, in the meantime, Bollywood actor Adil Hussain started receiving congratulations instead of Yusuf Dikke.

In such a situation, an X user posted a similarity in the looks of Adil Hussain and Yusuf Dikke. It wrote, ‘Adil Hussain congratulations for winning silver for Turkey in Olympics 2024. Respect.’ Adil immediately understood this joke and while sharing it, he replied, ‘I wish this was true… Maybe it’s not too late to practice now. I have attitude, now I can work on the skill set as well.’ Users have also made fun of the actor in the comment section.

The actor said- it felt funny
Adil Hussain has also talked about this in one of his interviews. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, he said, ‘I don’t think that tweet was made due to misunderstanding. He did it thoughtfully. It was said in fun. So when I saw it, I was not shocked. Rather, I found it very funny.’
During the interview, Adil was asked if he saw any similarity between himself and Yusuf Dikeek’s looks. To this he said, ‘Not at all. I don’t think anything is similar except our hair and glasses frame. That tweet was done in fun, so I took it that way. It was very funny.’

Who is Yusuf Dike?
Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikek lost to Serbian shooter in the final round. So he won the silver medal instead of gold. However, after his victory, he became an internet sensation overnight for his casual look. Yusuf was being discussed in India and abroad. The shooter was seen wearing his team’s white T-shirt and track pants in the Olympics. Unlike other shooters, Yusuf did not wear any special equipment like eye covers or air covers. He was just wearing his eyeglasses and won the silver in the 10 meter pistol event.
