Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick, who was sitting in the front row, said it appeared someone behind him was shot. “It’s hard to tell whether they came from one direction or two different weapons. It wasn’t clear, at least I couldn’t tell. And sadly, someone behind me up in the bleachers was definitely wounded, and there was a lot of blood,” McCormick told FOX News.
The shooting is being investigated as an attempted assassination of the former president. Trump was rushed off stage by Secret Service agents, and video footage showed blood near his ear. The suspected shooter was killed by Secret Service agents.
