Tremendous rise in this small stock… Mukesh Ambani’s big bet, price only Rs 29!

A small share in the stock market has been witnessing a good rise for the past few days. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries has a big stake in this company. In the last two days, this share has shown a great rise and has risen 16 percent to reach the price of Rs 29.16. These shares belong to a textile company named Alok Industries. On Thursday, its shares closed at Rs 29, rising 3.77%.

The 52-week high level of Alok Industries shares is Rs 39.05, while its 52-week low is Rs 16.10 per share. The market cap of the company is Rs 13,957 crore. At the same time, debt on equity is -1.32. The face value of the shares is 1. The ROE of this company is 4.28 percent.

The price increased so much in one year
This stock has not performed well in the long term. It has given a return of 71 per cent in one year, while in the last six months the stock has given a return of only 2 per cent. At the same time, the stock has gained more than 35 per cent since January. Apart from this, the shares of Alok Industries have shown a growth of 13 per cent in the last one month. From the year 2020 till now, this stock has grown by only 81 per cent.

Reliance Industries has so many shares
Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Industries has a major stake in this company. If we look at the shareholding pattern, the promoters have a 75 percent stake in this company, while retail has a 22 percent stake, while foreign investors have only 2 percent stake. Reliance Industries is included in its promoters group, which has 40.01 percent stake or 1,98,65,33,333 shares of this company. JM Financial Services has a 34.99 percent stake in this company. Both these companies own Alok Industries in a joint venture.

Company’s revenue and loss reduced
Alok Industries revenue for Q1FY25 declined quarter-on-quarter from Rs 1435 crore to Rs 968 crore. Alok Industries net loss narrowed to Rs -197 crore from Rs -206 crore in Q4FY24.
