train speed News: Security fences are being installed on both sides of the railway tracks under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway. Under this, about 412 km long Grand Cord railway track of East Central Railway jurisdiction in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh is being covered. Out of this, the fencing work of 231 km railway track has been completed so far.

Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that out of the 412 km rail section from Pradhankhanta to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction via Dhanbad, Gomo, Koderma, Gaya, Sonnagar, fencing work of 231 km railway track has been completed. Under ‘Mission Raftar’, work is being done to increase the speed of trains in the country. The target is to increase the speed of trains from 130 to 160 km per hour on major railway routes. In this series, security fences are being installed on both sides of the 160 km per hour speed railway track proposed by East Central Railway.

Out of the 175 km Grand Cord railway section falling in Dhanbad division, except for the 25 km long ghat section, the remaining 150 km railway track is to be faced, out of which till now 121 km work has been completed by laying pre-fabricated cemented slabs.

Then the movement of trains on these railway sections will become easier.

Pre-fabricated cement slabs are placed between two pillars and two steel plates are placed at a limited height interval between two pillars of crash barrier steel. It is said that after the completion of fencing work, the movement of trains on these railway sections will become easier, which will help in maintaining the punctuality of trains and additional trains will also be able to run.
