A three and a half year old girl died after a heavy iron gate fell on her in Pimpri-Chinchwad near Pune. This heart wrenching incident was captured on CCTV. The name of the deceased girl is Girija Ganesh Shinde. This incident is from Ganesh Nagar of Bopkhel.
After this incident, there was a commotion in the entire locality. While playing, the child pushed the gate so hard that it fell on the girl standing in front. The innocent girl died due to being crushed under the heavy iron gate. The police is also investigating this matter.
It is said that four children were playing together in Ganesh Nagar on Wednesday afternoon. Two of them went inside the iron gate. After this, Girija and her other friend ran and reached right in front of the gate. Just when the other boy was pulling the gate, it fell on the girl. The girl died on the spot after being crushed under the gate weighing hundreds of kilos.

This incident has brought a lot of grief to the Shinde family. According to the police, the owner of the neighbouring building was aware of the gate being broken. Despite this, the children were playing near it. Senior Inspector Vijay Dhamal said that this incident is being investigated. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this.
