There has been torrential rain in Gujarat for the last several days, due to which life has been badly affected. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for more rain for the next two days. There is heavy waterlogging in Mehsana, Kheda, Sabarkantha, Aravalli and Banaskantha districts. Rescue operations are being carried out at many places. The roads are filled with water up to the waist and vehicles have drowned. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for the next seven days.
