‘Today’s India thinks about everyone’s welfare’, said PM Modi in Poland

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived on a two-day visit to Poland. The PM was given a warm welcome here. He paid tribute to the memorial plaque of the Valivade-Kolhapur camp near the Monte Cassino War Memorial, which was inaugurated in November 2017. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Poland is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in the last 45 years. During his stay in Poland, PM Modi will meet Polish President Andrzej Sebastian Duda. Along with this, he will hold bilateral talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

PM Modi while addressing the people of Indian community said that all of you have come from different parts of Poland. Everyone has different languages, dialects, food habits. But everyone is connected. You have given me such a wonderful welcome here. I am very grateful to all of you, the people of Poland for this welcome. For the last 1 week, you people have been dominating the media of India. There is a lot of discussion about the people of Poland. And a lot is being told about Poland. It is being told in the media that after 45 years an Indian Prime Minister has come to Poland. I am destined to do many good works.

He said that just a few months ago I went to Austria. There too, an Indian Prime Minister had gone there after four decades. There are many such countries where no Indian Prime Minister has gone for decades. But now the circumstances are different. For decades, India’s policy was to maintain equal distance from all countries. Now India’s policy is to get closer to all countries. Today’s India wants to connect with everyone. Today’s India talks about everyone’s development. Today’s India is with everyone, thinks about everyone’s welfare. The whole world is honoring India as Vishwa Bandhu (World Brother).
