A young man was brutally assaulted in Samastipur district of Bihar. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. Actually, the young man living in Nagar Basti of Mathurapur police station area works as a confectioner. He alleges that he had asked for his outstanding wages from his contractor, but instead of wages, the contractor and his associates accused him of theft, tied him to a pole and beat him brutally.
According to the information, the victim alleges that the contractor tied him to a pole and beat him, due to which he got seriously injured. After this, a barber was called and his moustache and hair were shaved off. People present nearby kept making videos on their mobile phones instead of saving him. The video is going viral on social media.

The youth, who was seriously injured due to the beating, was admitted to Sadar Hospital by his family, where he is undergoing treatment. The victim told the police that he had gone to collect his dues from the contractor on Teej day, but the contractor behaved cruelly by falsely accusing him of theft.
After receiving information about this incident, the police team reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the victim. Police say that the youth was accused of theft and beaten up. The victim says that he had gone to ask for his wages. At present, the police is investigating the matter and has assured strict action against the culprits.
