His brothers are absconding in the case. Raids are being conducted to arrest them.

Let us tell you that Reshma (28), originally from Etawah, was married to Surjeet from Firozabad 10 years ago. Ever since marriage, Reshma was not getting along well with her husband Surjeet. Because, Surjeet was addicted to drugs. Last Monday also, Surjeet came home drunk.

Then he had an argument with his wife Reshma over something. After which Surjit beat her badly. He tied Reshma’s hands and legs with a rope and beat her fiercely with a stick. The cruelty reached its limit when he inserted a rolling pin in Reshma’s private part.

According to the police, the force went to the spot after receiving information about the incident. The body of 28-year-old Reshma was lying on a cot in Matsena police station area. There were injury marks on her body. Reshma’s husband Surjeet had fled from the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. On Reshma’s death, her brother Awadhesh had filed a murder case against Surjeet as well as his brothers Prashant and Sandeep. In which Surjeet has now been arrested.

In the case, Superintendent of Police (city) Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that the woman died due to the beating by her husband. In the post-mortem report that came on Wednesday, a rolling pin was found in the woman’s stomach, so the sections in the case have been increased. Currently, Surjeet has been arrested and sent to jail. Further proceedings are underway. This case of unintentional murder has been converted into murder.
