Three teenagers stabbed, fourth slashed outside NYC high school

Three teenagers were stabbed and a fourth beaten outside a Bronx high school on Monday, just three days after the start of the new school year.

The four teenagers were attacked outside Herbert Lehman High School on East Tremont Avenue just after 3:45 p.m., police said.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the right shoulder, another 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the right arm and a 17-year-old boy was cut. In the right hand, according to police.

The four victims, who are all high school students, were taken to Jacoby Hospital in stable condition.

The alleged stabbing is also believed to be present at the school, although no arrests have been made, according to the NYPD.

Police added that the attack did not take place on school grounds.

It is unclear if police are looking for one suspect or multiple. The investigation is ongoing.

Separately, two other students were taken into custody on disorderly conduct charges for an unrelated fight nearby, police said.
