‘Thousands of my sons and daughters are on the streets, we hope for justice, said the father of the trainee lady doctor

There is outrage in the country over the case of brutality and murder of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata. Meanwhile, the victim’s father said that we have full faith in the investigative team. We hope that we will get justice. He said that my daughter is gone, but I feel that thousands of my sons and daughters are on the streets right now. We are with this movement. We want justice, everyone should get the harshest punishment.

The victim’s father said that my daughter was very hardworking, she had worked hard to study medicine. He said that it pains me to keep mentioning the incident that happened with my daughter again and again. He also said that protests are happening on a large scale, we want justice, the person who committed this crime should get the harshest punishment.

Let us tell you that Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, appeared before the CBI for questioning for the second consecutive day. On Friday, the agency took Sandeep Ghosh with them for questioning, which continued till 1.40 pm on Saturday.

An official said that Sandeep Ghosh was made to sit in a room of the CBI’s city office in CGO Complex till 9.30 pm on Friday night, after which his interrogation began. Sandeep Ghosh reached the CBI office for questioning for the second time at around 10.30 am on Saturday.
The officer said that during the interrogation on the first day, Sandeep Ghosh was asked what was his first reaction after receiving the news of the lady doctor’s death, whom did he ask to inform the family and who contacted the police and how.

The official told PTI that some of the answers were evasive and he was questioned till Saturday morning and then allowed to go home. During the interrogation on Friday night, CBI officials inquired about the weekly roster as the victim was put on duty for 36 hours or sometimes up to 48 hours.
