Those who vandalised and assaulted a liquor shop were arrested, the dispute was over giving a loan

Four people have been identified and arrested in the case of assault in a liquor shop in Maharajganj police station area of ​​Ayodhya. All four have been sent to jail. At the same time, in protest against this incident, the salesmen of liquor shops closed their shops and protested fiercely outside the District Excise Officer’s office. However, after the protest, the shops have reopened after assurance of security.

District Excise Officer Jitendra Singh said, we have spoken to all the senior police officers regarding the vandalism and assault in the liquor shop. Police patrol teams will keep visiting such shops in the evening where any incident has happened earlier and the police will also remain there for some time. Instructions have been given to install CCTV cameras in all the shops. It is possible that cameras are not working in some shops due to technical reasons, but cameras are working in 99.5 percent of the shops.

reached the shop to buy liquor without money

Let us tell you that in Maharajganj police station area of ​​Ayodhya district, some people reached a liquor shop to buy liquor without money. When the salesman refused to give liquor without money, all of them beat up the salesman. Police said that this is an English liquor shop located in Jagdishpur Arwat of Maharajganj police station area. 5 people had reached this shop to buy liquor. These people asked for liquor from the salesman and said that they would pay the money later. On which the salesman refused to give liquor on credit.

Maharajganj police arrested four people

As soon as the salesman said this, all five of them started abusing him. During this, all five of them tried to open the latch of the door by putting their hands through the window of the shop. But they were unsuccessful. On this, the accused threw the goods kept on the counter and started attacking the salesman. Meanwhile, the accused broke the door with their feet and entered the shop and beat up the salesman badly. When the video of this incident went viral, Maharajganj police took action and arrested four people.
