This happened for the first time in the history of Nifty, the market swayed… These 10 stocks including Paytm saw a stormy rise

The stock market has been making record after record for the last two days. After touching a record high yesterday, Sensex-Nifty touched an all-time high today i.e. on 30 August 2024. During intraday, Sensex reached 82,637.03 points, while Nifty reached 25,268.35 level. At the close of trading, Sensex closed at 82,365.77, up 231.16 points, and Nifty closed at 25,235.90, up 85 points.

Nifty Bank was at 51,351 level after rising 198 points. Out of the top 30 stocks of BSE Sensex, 9 stocks were seeing a decline, while the remaining 21 stocks were seeing a strong jump. Bajaj Finance’s stock rose the most, by more than 2 percent and reached Rs 7206. Tata Motors’ stock saw a slight decline. Out of 2,810 stocks of NSE, 1,614 stocks were rising and 1,108 stocks were falling, the remaining 88 stocks were unchanged.

On NSE, 140 stocks closed at 52-week high while 20 stocks closed at 52-week low. A total of 103 stocks hit upper circuit and 65 stocks hit lower circuit.

Tremendous rise in these 10 stocks
Large Cap

Shree Cement shares rose 2.66 percent to close at Rs 25,482. GAIL India stock jumped 2.49 percent to Rs 237. CIPLA shares rose 2.25 percent to close at Rs 1,654.

Mid Cap
Paytm stock rose 12.16 percent to reach Rs 621. AU Small Finance shares rose 7.55 percent to close at Rs 688. Prestige States stock jumped 5 percent to close at Rs 1813.

Small Cap
Shares of Radico Khaitan jumped 6.85 per cent to Rs 1942 today. Shares of GSPL rose 5.56 per cent and shares of Shree Renuka Sugars rose 5.40 per cent.

This is the first time in the history of Nifty
Nifty 50 has created another record. It has closed in the green zone for the 12th consecutive day. Earlier, Nifty 50 had made a record of closing in the green zone for 11 consecutive days, but breaking that record, Nifty has now closed higher for the 12th consecutive day.
