Thieves did not spare even Ayodhya, thousands of lights installed on Ram Path and Bhakti Path were stolen, the cost was more than 50 lakh rupees

Thieves stole 3,800 ‘bamboo lights’ and 36 ‘gobo projector lights’ worth more than Rs 50 lakh installed on Ram Path and Bhakti Path leading to Ramlala’s temple in Ayodhya. These incidents of theft took place at the most important and secure place in Ayodhya and no one, including the police force, had any clue about it.

6,400 ‘bamboo lights’ were installed on the trees along the Rampath and 96 ‘gobo projector’ lights on the Bhaktipath by firms Yash Enterprises and Krishna Automobiles under a contract awarded by the Ayodhya Development Authority.

According to the firm’s representative Shekhar Sharma, 3,800 ‘bamboo lights’ and 36 ‘gobo projector lights’ installed on Rampath and Bhaktipath have been stolen. He has lodged a case in Ram Janmabhoomi police station.

According to the complaint given to the police, ‘6,400 bamboo lights were installed on Rampath and 96 gobo projector lights were installed on Bhakti Path. All the lights had been installed by March 19, but after inspection on May 9, it was found that some lights were missing. Investigation revealed that about 3,800 bamboo lights and 36 gobo projector lights had been stolen by thieves.’

According to the complaint lodged, it was admitted that the firm came to know about the theft in May, but the case was registered on August 9, two months after the theft. Police are investigating the matter.

Ram Path was completed in 10 months
The 12.97 kilometer long Ram Path has been constructed in a record time of 10 months. Ram Path connects with the newly constructed Dharma Path, Bhakti Path and Ram Janmabhoomi Path in the inner part of Ayodhya to visit Ram Lalla. The newly constructed Ram Path, Dharma Path, Bhakti Path and Ram Janmabhoomi Path in the inner part of Ayodhya have been decorated with facade lighting, mural painting, vintage Victorian solar tail lamp, artistically designed arc lamp, proper pavement, inland drainage and concrete layout carriage way, greenery enabled divider.
