Due to the sluggish attitude of the police in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, incidents of theft are happening every day. Ignoring the police patrol, thieves are fearlessly committing thefts in the city and the police is unable to do anything. Thieves are now not only stealing goods from homes, but are also not sparing vehicles parked outside the houses and are even stealing oil.
Theft incident captured in CCTV
The latest case is from Chhatri Bazaar of the old vegetable market in the old city. Where two unknown thieves targeted half a dozen bikes parked outside the houses in the market last night and broke the tanks of the bikes and stole the petrol. This act of the thieves was captured in the CCTV installed outside a house nearby.

The victim bike owners have informed the Kotwali police about the incident. Giving information about the theft, the police said that last night unknown thieves stole petrol from half a dozen bikes parked outside the house in the market. The thieves also broke the CCTV. The police have started investigation so that the thieves can be caught.
Locals accused the police of not patrolling
Local people say that some time ago the administration had installed poles to install CCTVs in the market. But CCTVs have not been installed on those poles till date. Local people also allege that the policemen who are put on patrol duty at night, instead of patrolling, sit in one place in the market and the thieves commit theft and leave.
