They wanted to become famous by overturning a train, 2 arrested for placing a wooden boat on railway track in Farrukhabad

On the night of 24th August in Farrukhabad, an attempt was made to commit a big crime by placing a wooden boat on the railway track. In this case, the police have arrested the youths who placed the girl’s body on the track. Both of them wanted to become famous by overturning the train.

In this case, the police have arrested two youths from a nearby village. Both of them, under the influence of alcohol, had conspired to overturn a train by placing a girl’s boat on the railway track. So that both of them could become famous. At present, the police have arrested both the accused Dev Singh Rajput and Mohan Kashyap. Both the arrested accused have confessed their crime.

The train arrived 30 minutes late
The train was delayed by about 30 minutes due to this incident. The train driver had informed the GRP about this incident. On inspection of the incident, it was seen that there were old mango trees which had broken near the incident spot. Some people had cut the broken trees and placed some pieces of wood on the track. Cut wood of mango trees was also found lying near the incident spot and a liquor bottle was also found.

Accident averted due to train driver’s presence of mind
SP Alok Priyadarshi said that some unknown persons had put a piece of wood on the railway track near Bhatasa Halt. On this, the driver of the train coming from Kasganj to Farrukhabad saw the track in time and stopped the train. Due to this, a piece of wood got stuck in the engine of the train.

The incident happened on the night of 24 August
Let us tell you that the passenger train coming from Kasganj to Farrukhabad had moved 500 meters ahead of Bhatasa Halt of Farrukhabad at around 11 pm on 24 August. Just then a piece of wood was lying on the railway track. Seeing this, the train driver stopped the train and removed the piece of wood from the track. After this, the train moved ahead and reached its destination Farrukhabad station. Due to this, the train was delayed by 30 minutes.
