In today’s era, every second person is suffering from obesity. The reason is bad lifestyle and eating habits. To a large extent, our weight depends on what we eat. We can control our weight by changing our eating habits.

Nutritionist Anjali Mukherjee has shared 5 tips to lose weight on her Instagram. By adopting these tips, you too can lose weight easily.

According to him, ‘Whether you are 25 years old or 70 years old, eat food only when you are hungry. Many times we keep eating something or the other even when we are not hungry, stop doing this.’

She further says, ‘Always eat only three-fourths of your capacity. Because your body also needs space to digest food properly.

Anjali further says that one should completely avoid all kinds of sweets, alcohol, refined flour and ultra-processed foods.

If you really want to lose weight, keep a gap of at least four to five hours between two meals. Do not eat frequently.

She finally says, ‘Do some physical activity every day. Like going for a walk, doing yoga, dancing or swimming etc.

Apart from this, you can adopt the following measures to lose weight:

have a good sleep
Lack of sleep is also a major reason for weight gain. Less sleep can increase our hunger hormones. Due to which we feel like eating again and again. Good sleep keeps us healthy and can help in weight loss.

Eat a protein-rich breakfast
What you eat for breakfast can affect your entire day. This is why eating healthy foods in the morning is one of the best habits for weight loss. Eating protein-rich foods keeps us satiated for a long time, which can help in losing weight.

Drink green tea
Anti-oxidants like catechins found in green tea burn body fat which is helpful in reducing the risk of obesity and heart diseases.
