In case of voluntary religious conversion, the magistrate will have to be informed 2 months in advance. According to the bill, there was a provision of 1-5 years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 15,000 for forced or fraudulent religious conversion. If this happens to a Dalit girl, then there was a provision of 3-10 years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 25,000.
