There were four layers of security but still thieves broke into the bank, escaped with lakhs of rupees in cash and CCTV DVR

Thieves broke into the safe of Bank of Baroda Regional Rural Bank in Alwar, Rajasthan on Saturday night and stole the money kept in it. During this, the clever thieves also took away the DVR of the CCTV camera installed in the bank. After getting the information, the police reached the spot, registered an FIR and is searching for the thieves. At the same time, the police have collected fingerprints and other evidence of the thieves from the spot.

Actually, there is a branch of Bank of Baroda Regional Rural Bank in Dehra village. This branch runs in the building of the village sarpanch. On Saturday night, thieves carried out the robbery in the bank in a very clever way. The thieves broke the window of the bank and entered inside. Then they broke the safe of the bank and escaped with Rs 1 lakh 70 thousand kept in it.

On Sunday morning, the bank officials got information about the theft in the bank. After this, the police was informed about the incident. The police have collected fingerprints and other evidence with the help of the forensic team. At the same time, after this incident of theft, the bank employees and policemen are surprised as to how the thieves broke the bank’s safe. Because the bank officials say that the safe has four layers and it is not possible to break it with a normal weapon.

SHO Shivdayal Meena said that a case of attempted theft was reported in this bank a year ago. There is no guard facility in the bank. Apart from this, there are no security equipment either. On the basis of the complaint of the bank manager, an FIR has been registered and investigation has been started. No important information has been found so far. Further action is being taken in the case.
