A very horrifying incident has come to light from Patan district of Gujarat. Here the father did not have money to treat his sick son. The father killed a woman selling flower garlands for just Rs 1500. After this, he hung the body in a bush. When people saw it, they informed the police. The police reached the spot and took stock of the situation and took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police has arrested the accused of this incident.

According to the information, this incident is from Lukhasan village of Sidhpur tehsil of Patan district. Here on the night of 20 July 2024, the body of a woman was found in the bushes behind the Hanuman temple outside the village. When people saw it, they informed the police. After the information, the police reached the spot and took stock. When the identification was done, it was found that the deceased woman used to sell flower garlands on a cart outside the temple. Her name is Kesarben Rawal.

The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Initial investigation revealed that the woman was murdered by strangulation. After this, the deceased woman’s son Ashish Rawal filed a case against an unknown person. Several teams including Patan LCB, SOG, Cyber ​​Crime and Sidhpur Police started the investigation. CCTV footage of the area was scanned. A total of about 800 people including nearby people, farmers and laborers were questioned. LCB and Sidhpur Police got a clue that the person who committed the murder was Kalpesh Valmiki, a resident of the same village. After this, the police took him into custody and interrogated him.

What did the police say about the entire incident?

DYSP KK Pandya said that when the police interrogated the accused Kalpesh, some shocking things came to light. The accused Kalpesh’s son was ill. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Sidhpur. Kalpesh did not have money for his treatment. He asked his parents, brother and friends for money, but did not get any. After this, he went to Hanuman temple at 8:30 in the morning. There he saw that a woman was selling coconuts and puja material on a lorry outside the temple.

Accused Kalpesh thought that the woman must have money. With this he went to the woman Kesarben, he suddenly attacked the woman and looted the 1500 rupees that the woman had. During this the woman said that she will tell everyone in the village.

During this time, there was a fight between Kalpesh and Kesarben, a woman selling puja material. During this time, Kalpesh strangled the woman to death with her sari and hung the body on a nearby bush in such a way as if the woman had committed suicide. After committing this crime, the accused Kalpesh reached home, changed his clothes and went to get his son treated.

In this incident, people are raising questions that if Kalpesh has murdered the woman, then how did he tie her to the bushes and hang her alone. There is a distance of about 400 meters between the place where the incident happened and the place where the body was found hanging. Now the police is investigating whether anyone else is involved in this murder or not.
