‘There was competition between uncle and nephew, who would collect how much from where’, CM Yogi taunts Akhilesh-Shivpal

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a jibe at Samajwadi Party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav and said that before 2017, there used to be competition between uncle and nephew as to who would collect how much from where. CM Yogi said that this trend of competition had brought Uttar Pradesh to such a low level.

CM Yogi Adityanath further said, “There was no such recruitment in his government which was not being investigated, there was no such recruitment in which the court did not have to intervene. They did not adopt any such process in which transparency and fairness was visible, but today, moving away from this, the system that Uttar Pradesh has adopted has resulted in giving government jobs to six and a half lakh youth in the last seven years and helping more than two crore youth and other needy people of UP to get employment. As a result of this, the rate of unemployment in UP is at its lowest level.”
