There was a competition to become a mother on Janmashtami in Kanpur, hundreds of women delivered their babies in hospitals

There is a lot of excitement in the entire country from Mathura-Vrindavan on Janmashtami. The birth anniversary of the Lord is being celebrated with great pomp in every house. Temples are decorated in a wonderful manner. Women are making their children Kanha. Not only this, in Kanpur, many women got their delivery done on this day so that their children will be brave like Lord Krishna and Kanhaiya will protect them. The special thing is that most of them have decided to name their children after Krishna, Shyam Ghanshyam.

When Swami Gupta’s child was born today in the city’s New Leelamani Hospital, he named his son after Lord Krishna. Swami had already chosen the day of Janmashtami for his delivery and had also decided that if it is a boy, he will name him Krishna. He believes that if his son is born on Janmashtami, Lord Krishna will protect him and if he is named Krishna after him, he will be brave like him.

Similarly, 8 women delivered their babies on Janmashtami in Dufferin Hospital, Kanpur and 10 women delivered their babies in Sheela Hospital. Hundreds of women delivered their babies in Ursula Hospital, Kashiram Hospital and many private nursing homes today. The women who gave birth to daughters were also not disappointed. They believe that by giving birth to daughters on Janmashtami, Lord Krishna’s power Radha Maiya will protect their children and they named their daughters after Radha and Rukmini.
