The Supreme Court has put a stay on the order of hanging the name of the operator/owner on the shops on the Kanwar route in UP. But now Mahant Swami Yashveer Maharaj, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, has started a new campaign regarding this. He has said that all Sanatani businessmen should put a saffron flag with ‘Om’ written on it and a statue/picture of Lord Varah on their shops/establishments, this will ensure the identity of the establishment.

Let us tell you that Mahant Swami Yashveer Maharaj of Yoga Sadhna Ashram located in Baghra Block was the first to demand writing the name of the owner on the shops falling on the route of Kanwar Yatra in Muzaffarnagar. Later, the district administration and the state government also issued a similar order. But the court has put a stay on this order.

However, amid the controversy over the nameplates on the shops, Swami Yashvir Maharaj has once again appealed to the Sanatani traders that all small and big shopkeepers should put up a saffron flag with ‘Om’ written on it and the idol of Lord Varah, an incarnation of Vishnu, at their respective establishments.

After the decision of the Supreme Court, Mahant made this appeal

While talking to the media, Swami Yashveer Maharaj said that the interim order of the Supreme Court on the name plate dispute has come. But our Hindu society is not bound by this. I want to tell all the followers of Sanatan Dharma that wherever you have a hotel, dhaba, tea shop, sweet shop, juice shop, fruit shop or any food shop, write your and your father’s name in bold letters and put a photocopy of your Aadhar card. Also put a saffron flag of Om on it. Also install a picture of Lord Varah.

According to Swami Yashveer- Kanwadis should stop at the place where all this will happen. Because, there will be no disgusting acts like spitting in food, urinating or putting cow meat in it. You will get pure food in the month of Shravan. Eat vegetarian satvik food without any worry.

Regarding this appeal of Swami Yashveer, Anant Kumar Bhardwaj, who runs a dhaba named Shri Shyam Bhojanalaya on Delhi-Dehradun Highway in Muzaffarnagar, says that my dhaba is on NH-58, Swami ji has put up the picture of Lord Varah here. The Supreme Court has also ordered that anyone can put up a name plate as per their wish. I have already put up a name plate. I am in favor of the court’s decision. Pure vegetarian food is available here, without garlic and onion.
