The young man was making a reel at Mainal waterfall, he got swept away by the strong current of water and fell 150 feet down

Kanhaiya Lal Berwa, a resident of Bhilwara, was making a reel with his friend Akshat Dhobi at Mainal waterfall. Suddenly he lost his balance and both the friends started flowing in the waterfall. Then they caught hold of the safety chain installed there. Kanhaiya Lal’s friend Akshat was somehow saved by the people present there. But Kanhaiya Lal Berwa could not withstand the fast flow of water for long and he lost his grip.

As soon as he lost his grip on the chain, he was swept away into a gorge 150 feet below. Due to this, he died. This is the fourth major accident at Mainal waterfall in the last 1 week. The administration has installed a chain there for safety. Despite that, tourists are not refraining from taking selfies and making reels. 20-year-old Kanhaiya Lal Berwa, who was swept away in the waterfall, was a resident of Bhilwara.

His friend who was rescued, 26-year-old Akshat, is also from Bhilwara. Both of them had gone to Mainal waterfall on Monday morning. After reaching there, both of them started bathing in the waterfall and started making reels. Meanwhile, suddenly both of them started flowing in the strong current of water. Meanwhile, they also tried to escape by falling on the safety chain installed by the administration. But Kanhaiya Lal could not be saved.

The video of this entire incident is going viral on social media. Twenty SDRF jawans and divers are trying to find the young man. He has not been found yet. Chittorgarh district’s Bengu Tehsildar Dharmendra Swami said that a chain has been made by barricading for security in Menal.

After making all the security arrangements and escaping the eyes of the police personnel engaged in security, people reach the danger point. In this accident too, the local divers tried hard to save the young man. But due to the strong flow of water, he was swept away. A team of SDRF has started the rescue operation.
