The terror of man-eating wolves continues in Bahraich, a two and a half year old girl was killed late at night, 9 people have died so far

People of 35 villages of Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh are living in fear of man-eating wolves. People in these villages are guarding their houses by staying awake all night. The forest department has caught four wolves, but two wolves are still creating terror. On Sunday night, a two and a half year old girl died in a wolf attack. Earlier, wolves had attacked and injured a child, a woman and an elderly person.

On Sunday night, wolves attacked Garethi Guru Dutt Singh village, targeting a two and a half year old girl. The girl died during treatment. Apart from this, a 65 year old woman Anchala was attacked in Kotiya village. Both these attacks were carried out by wolves in Hardi police station area. This was the second consecutive night in which wolves attacked continuously.

25 teams of the forest department are engaged in catching wolves

In Bahraich, about 25 teams from 5 forest divisions Bahraich, Katarniaghat Wildlife, Shravasti, Gonda and Barabanki are engaged in catching these man-eating wolves. Now these man-eaters have expanded their range to other areas of the district. Bahraich DFO is saying that the total number of these wolves is six. So far four wolves have been caught and the administration is now looking for two more wolves. However, the villagers of the affected areas are saying that their number is two dozen.
