The stock market closed with a huge gain… These 10 stocks proved to be today’s ‘heroes’

The Indian stock market witnessed a boom throughout the day on Wednesday. After opening on the green mark, both the market indexes Sensex-Nifty closed with a great gain. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a gain of 874.94 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed with a gain of 322 points. Meanwhile, there was a rapid rise in the shares of Adani Group company Adani Port to PSU BHEL.

Sensex jumped 874 points
First of all, let us talk about the performance of Sensex and Nifty during trading in the market, so let us tell you that BSE Sensex opened at 79,565.40 level at 9.15 am, gaining from its previous close of 78,593.07 and during the day’s trading it jumped more than 1000 points to reach the day’s high level of 79,639.20. However, this pace slowed down a bit by the time the market closed, but despite this the Sensex closed at 79,468.01 with a gain of 874.94 points or 1.11 percent.

Nifty closed with a jump of 300 points
Like the Sensex, the NSE Nifty also maintained its upward trend throughout the trading day. Nifty-50 started trading at 24,289.40, gaining from its previous close of 23,992. After this, it rose at a rocket speed and touched the level of 24,337.70. However, at the end of trading in the stock market, Nifty-50 closed at 24,297.50 with a gain of 304.95 points or 1.27 percent.

These 5 stocks became rockets in large cap
Amid the rise in the stock market, the shares of many big companies jumped. However, if we talk about the 5 large-cap companies that made the biggest jump, then on Wednesday, Indian billionaire Gautam Adani’s company Adani Port was ahead in this list. Adani Ports Share rose by 3.42% and closed at the level of Rs 1544.30. After this, PowerGrid Share (3.20%), JSW Steel Share (2.61%), Tata Steel Share (2.40%) and Maruti Share (2.09%) closed with gains.

There was a tremendous jump in these shares too
Now if we talk about the midcap and smallcap companies which rose with tremendous speed on Wednesday, then the midcap category closed with gains of Oil India Share (8.17%), Policy Bazar Share (6.03%), BHEL Share (6.02%). Whereas the smallcap companies Venkeys Share and BASF Share closed with gains of 20%.
