Politics in UP has heated up over the Ayodhya rape case. On one hand, the Samajwadi Party is attacking the BJP government. On the other hand, the BJP is saying that the accused in this incident is close to the SP MP from Ayodhya. While the SP demanded a narco test of the victim and the accused, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya targeted the ‘Saifai family’ over this. Now SP President Akhilesh Yadav has said that the intention of ill-intentioned people to politicise such incidents should never succeed.
Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, “The government should make the best possible medical arrangements for the rape victim. It is the government’s responsibility to protect the girl’s life. It is a humble request to the honourable court to take suo motu cognizance of the situation and ensure all possible security for the victim under its supervision, considering the sensitivity and seriousness of the situation. The intention of ill-intentioned people to politicise such incidents should never succeed.”

Earlier, Akhilesh had said that the DNA test of all those who have been accused in this case should be done to find a way for justice and not to do politics by just making allegations. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment according to the law, but if the allegations are proved false after the DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.
Shivpal said- Narco test should be done on Keshav Maurya too
Earlier, SP’s national general secretary Shivpal Yadav had also supported the demand for narco test of the victim and the accused. Shivpal had said, “I strongly condemn the Ayodhya incident and also support the demand for narco test made by Mr. Pawan Pandey. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya should also undergo narco test so that it becomes clear who is doing cheap politics on sensitive issues.”
What did Keshav Maurya say?
Earlier, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya had tweeted that saving rapists is the innate nature of SP. If the rapist is a Muslim, then the entire Saifai family puts its weight behind saving him. He further wrote – SP will be destroyed. SP General Secretary had retorted to this statement of Keshav Maurya.
What is the whole incident of Ayodhya?
This rape incident is from Ayodhya’s Pura Kalandar police station area, where after raping a 12-year-old girl, the accused made an obscene video of her and then blackmailed her for a long time and kept raping her in turns. This case came to light when the victim became two months pregnant. It is alleged that about two and a half months ago, the victim was returning from the field after working as a labourer. Then on the way, she met a man named Raju who told her that bakery owner Moeed Khan was calling her.
It is alleged that Moeed raped her and Raju made a video of it. Then Raju also raped the girl. Both of them kept doing dirty things with her for a long time by blackmailing her on the basis of the video. The matter came to light when the girl became 2 months pregnant.
Police took action after pressure
In this case, the victim’s family also complained to the police, but it is alleged that initially no action was taken on it. Later, when Hindu organizations along with Nishad Party people expressed anger, the police arrested SP’s Bhadarsa city president Moeed Khan and Raju, who worked at his bakery. The victim’s mother said that when we went to the police station with a complaint, the inspector told us to keep Raju’s name, but remove the other name. Then after the intervention of the SP, our case was registered. We want death penalty for the accused.
The victim’s mother met CM Yogi
The mother of the victim minor girl met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow last Friday. During this, the CM assured strict action against SP leader Moeed Khan and other accused. After this, action has been taken against the police station in-charge and outpost in-charge and investigation of the property of the accused has been started.
