A 16-year-old girl who went missing under mysterious circumstances from her home in Delhi’s Rohini area has been found in Panchkula, Haryana. The surprising thing is that some time ago her parents had declared her dead, when an unclaimed body was found in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. At that time the family had identified the body as their daughter. But now she has been found alive.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Gur Iqbal Singh Sidhu said that on July 18, the complainant Rakesh Kumar had lodged a report. According to him, his 16-year-old daughter has gone missing from his house. After registering an FIR in this case, the police started investigation. The police team examined the nearby CCTV footage and questioned the relatives, friends and family members of the missing girl.

Despite this, no trace of the girl was found. On August 9, it was reported that an unidentified body of a girl was found in suspicious condition in Sambhal. The next day the police team reached there with the girl’s parents. Her parents identified the body as their daughter, but the police team was suspicious. After this, it was decided to collect scientific evidence to establish the identity of the unidentified body.

Police investigation proved that the dead body of the girl found was not from Rohini, Delhi. Police expanded its investigation. Informers were activated. During this, the police team got information about the missing girl. She was present in Panchkula, Haryana. Police went there and recovered the girl. The DCP said that the girl has been safely handed over to her parents.

Let us tell you that two years ago also Delhi Police had recovered a missing minor girl safely. A 16-year-old girl had gone missing from her house. Her mother had lodged a complaint in Chanakyapuri police station on the intervening night of 14-15 August. She said that her daughter was missing since 5:30 pm. After receiving the complaint, a police team was formed. The girl did not have any gadget, so it was difficult to find her technically.

The police first investigated the mobile used by the girl and found out that she used to play the online game ‘Free Fire’. She was also in contact with other players through this game. Apart from this, the call records made by her from her father’s mobile were also investigated. During the investigation, it was found that the girl was also in contact with Vikram Chauhan, a resident of Rajasthan. After finding out about him, he was interrogated.

Vikram told the police that on the evening of August 14 at around 5:45 pm, the girl had called him from an auto rickshaw driver’s mobile. During this, she told that she was at Ram Mandir near Sarojini Market in New Delhi. On this information, the police team immediately reached the spot and searched, but no trace of the missing girl was found. After this, Vikram was contacted again and during this time the police got another mobile number.

The girl contacted again from that mobile. After this, the mobile number was put on surveillance. Based on that surveillance, the police reached Gurdwara Bangla Sahib New Delhi. An extensive search was conducted there to locate the missing girl. After this, the girl was found at 2:30 pm. During interrogation, she told that she had left the house due to a dispute with her mother over something. The police handed her over to her family.
