In Jaipur, Rajasthan, having fun on the dam during the rainy season proved fatal for 5 friends. These friends, who had come to enjoy on Sunday, died by drowning in the water. 6 friends were having fun in the sheet of rainwater on the Kanota Dam’s culvert, when one friend slipped and fell into the water. To save him, all of them jumped into the water one by one. However, the one who was drowning was saved. But all the 5 friends who went to save him drowned. During this, all the other people kept making their videos, but no one extended a helping hand.
The incident took place at Jaipur’s Kanota Dam. Where after many years, the city residents gathered to see the water in heavy rain. A group of 6 friends also came in this crowd. But they became victims of the accident at around 4 pm on Sunday evening.

According to the information, a young man named Raj Brijwasi slipped on the culvert and slowly started drowning in the dam. Seeing all this, Raj’s other 5 friends Harsh Nagaura, Vinay Meena, Vivek Mahor, Ajay Mahor and Harkesh Meena jumped to save him. However, Raj somehow saved his life by coming to the bank of the culvert. But all his other friends died by drowning.
According to ACP Mukesh Chaudhary, a total of 6 youths were swept away in the water, one youth survived but 5 youths drowned. After this, the SDRF and Civil Defense personnel carried out the rescue operation till late night and took out the bodies of the deceased after a lot of hard work. SDRF took out the bodies drowned in water.
According to the police officer, the deceased are residents of Shastri Nagar and Jhotwara in Jaipur, whose bodies have been kept in Sawai Mansingh Hospital.
