‘The more the distance from AAP, the better it will be for Congress… there should be no alliance in Haryana’, said Pratap Singh Bajwa

Assembly elections are going to be held soon in Haryana. Before the elections, political stir has intensified regarding the alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. Yesterday, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh had given a big statement on Rahul Gandhi’s offer to contest the Haryana elections together. But today a senior Congress leader has warned about this possible alliance.

Senior Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa says that Congress should not have an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana, the more distance there is from AAP, the better it will be for Congress.

What did Sanjay Singh say on the AAP-Congress alliance in Haryana?

Regarding the possible alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress before the assembly elections in Haryana, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that the picture will become clear in the next few days regarding the alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in Haryana. It will become clear whether we will contest on 90 seats or nine seats in the state.

Meanwhile, AAP Haryana State President Sushil Gupta told Aaj Tak that the possibility of an alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress for the elections in the state cannot be ruled out. Aam Aadmi Party and Congress leadership are exploring the possibility. If the possibility arises, we will move in that direction. But the alliance will not be based on a local level decision, rather the high command will decide on it.

He said that AAP’s aim is to uproot the arrogant dictatorial government of BJP, for this we will adopt whatever path is required. Whatever decision will be taken on the alliance, it will be in the interest of the state and the country. He said that BJP’s departure from Haryana is certain. Both the parties are part of the INDIA alliance, but I am preparing for 90 seats. Aam Aadmi Party has a base of 90 seats, scrutiny of candidates has been done.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Birendra Singh said that Congress is capable of contesting elections on 90 seats. People in Haryana are talking about India Alliance. Congress is not weaker than anyone. But it is our job to take our allies along.

Voting in Haryana on October 5

Voting for Haryana assembly elections will be held on October 5. Here votes will be cast on all 90 seats in a single phase. Earlier voting was to be held here on October 1. But the date has been extended due to the centuries-old festival of Bishnoi community, Asoj Amavasya. Its results will be declared on October 8 along with the Jammu and Kashmir elections.

Tenure ends on November 3 in Haryana

The term of the 90-seat Haryana Assembly is ending on November 3. In the last election, BJP could not get a majority. Later, it formed the government by forming an alliance with Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party. However, the alliance of BJP and JJP broke in March this year. Currently, NDA has 43 seats and India Block has 42 seats in Haryana.
