“We are ready to cooperate”

People are waiting for treatment. What help did Delhi give to UP? UP has been left far behind. In the last financial year, only one percent FDI has come to UP.
Akhilesh further said, earlier you were building smart cities. Today the government has to make medicines cheaper for cancer treatment. But why are you not running the cancer institute that is built in UP.
Lakhs of farmers have committed suicide…
Akhilesh made a statement about farmers. Akhilesh said, farmers are committing suicide in the country. One can imagine that lakhs of farmers have committed suicide. Then you say that farmers are happy. You were shown a dream that you will double the income. You are giving honorarium of five hundred rupees to the farmers. What benefit is 500 rupees giving in today’s inflation. Are you giving benefits to the farmer who does farming on sharecropping? He is not being given respect. Today, along with farmers, the population of sharecroppers and laborers is more. What is the government giving them?
Decisions of 10 years have increased unemployment…
Akhilesh said that when the BJP government was formed for the first time, his people celebrated a lot. When the government was formed for the second time, people celebrated even more. But when the government was formed for the third time, there was not as much happiness. This budget is something similar. This is the 11th budget of his government. The happiness and enthusiasm that should have been there is not visible. This budget seems more like a blow than a budget. The budget has been slapped. Especially the people of UP are disappointed. The way UP was seeing, it will get the most benefit. There will be no discrimination. This is a double engine government. Your decisions of 10 years have increased unemployment. The jobs you want to provide today are not respectable.
Akhilesh said, you are saying that jobs of 5 thousand rupees will be available. You are saying this when government employees are talking about implementing the recommendations of the Eighth Pay Commission. Salary and facilities should increase according to inflation. In 10 years of government, you increased unemployment. Now you are not even able to provide respectable employment.
The UP government has not asked for anything…
Akhilesh said, if you give a special package for the capital of Andhra Pradesh, you will give an expressway package to Bihar. You will give a flood control package. UP has not been named even once, so the MPs sitting here will understand. I think the UP government would not have asked for anything. If they had asked, the Delhi government would not have disappointed them. Bihar has got the package because they have to run the government with the support of the MPs of Bihar.
