According to Anil, his wife left him about 15 years ago. He used to drive a truck then. He did have one and a half acres of land, but his financial condition was not good.
The victim’s husband narrated his ordeal
According to Anil- my wife was having an affair with someone, due to which there were daily fights. The matter reached the police station. The police sent me to jail on the charge of assault. On the other hand, my wife started living with her lover. I have been living alone for a long time. I have become a priest in a temple in the village. Since then, there was no information about my wife. Meanwhile, when the government took the land, 28 lakh rupees came into my account as compensation. On getting the news, my wife and children came back and tried to take me away. When I protested, they took away one and a half lakh rupees.
Currently, Anil has complained about this to the police of Raksa police station and has appealed for justice. He said that his wife who has not seen him for years, along with the children, took away everything from me. Thankfully, the remaining money is in the bank.
Anil says that his wife and children live in Raksa. He only knows that one of his sons is a lawyer and the other is also capable. When they came to know about the huge amount coming to me, one of the sons came and said that he wanted to live with me. Meanwhile, he started work on a plot in the village. He had to pay Rs 1.5 lakh to the worker. I reached the plot with the money. But when my wife and children saw Rs 1.5 lakh in my pocket, they forcibly snatched the money and went away.
